Revit 2015:
I created an annotation family of a tag for a simple footing. I have the tag showing the width and length correctly in the family. What I would like is for the insertion point of the family to come in at a set distance based on the footing's width and length.
In example, my tag needs to be located 1/2 the width over and 1/2 the length up when it comes in to be in the correct place. I have a reference line from the insertion point and a dimension to it (and it's labeled as a parameter which I called half width and half length respectively). I cannot see where to get the actual width from the footing as a parameter in my formula.
Anyone know if this is even possible?
