Analytical model projection for sloped or rotated beams

The way the analytical model projection works does not really seem to make too much sense to me.

Apparently, the z-direction projection and y-direction projection are always in the direction of the LOCAL z-axis and y-axis. I cannot imagine almost any scenario where such behavior is helpful. On the other hand, I have had many situation where the projection in GLOBAL y-direction and especially z-direction would be very helpful.

See the examples:

A) The horizontal brace that I would like to project on the floor level (yes, I know I can use z-Direction Offset to avoid the projection, this is just to illustrate the issue). When Cross-Section Rotation is 0 it works great, but if the section is rotated the projection is useless.

B) The sloped roof framing that I would like to project on the horizontal plane. The analytical models for the sloped beams are displaced and again the projection is useless.
