How does REVIT 2014 decide whether to show / or not show a home run arrow.
Is there a workflow that I am not adhering to as I replicated the same result in various ways.
Thanks for your responses.

1. placed the fittings & switches
2. selected the Switch
3. made it a circuit
4. 'wired' from the switch to the fittings
OK, so the Light Fixture are not actually part of the Electrical Circuit; just connecting them with Wire does not associate the elements. When you are drawing the Wire from the Switch, the other end is not being connected to an element on the same Electrical Circuit, hence the creation of the Homerun. In order to add the Light Fixtures to the same Electrical Circuit as the Switch, select the Switch and on the 'Electrical Circuits' tab of the Ribbon, click "Edit Circuit", and then just select the elements that you wish to add to this Electrical Circuit ("Add to Circuit" mode is active by default). See the link below for more information on creating Electrical Circuits.

Thanks Corey, it seems when the Light fittings were created they were given a voltage of 0 (zero) & this wasnt picked up, but your workflow is good.
