Why pendant light is upside down?

Pls see attached pic.

I placed my linear pendant lights. When I check 3D I saw them upside down. What am I doing wrong?

Did you host to a reference plane?

If so, most likely, you drew your reference plane backwards. try drawing it from left to right.

Isn't that reference plane is the ceiling? does it mean that the architect needs to change it? or is there something I can do here (which can be faster) than telling the architect to correct themselves.

If you select the light, there should be a little blue icon to "Flip on Workplane". Some of the out of the box revit stuff will place upside down like that for some reason. Also, if the item is built using a "Face Hosted" template, the item should be built up-side down to place correctly in RCP.
