Where should i begin for Revit programming and customising

Hi.

I know revit verymuch is a out of the box software with very limited or vitually none for customising and programming for beginers. I was comparing to standard autocad where beginers can take up customing tools and menus and later on proceed with LISP and so on.

Could someone please tell me where should i be start looking for a bit customising and programing for Revit MEP. i have some knowledge in Lisp.

The API for Revit is .NET... so you may want to start with some general .NET (C# or VB) programming books.

On the Revit DVD is a SDK zip file that contains dozens of Revit specific examples.
