visibility of linked structure

I have been running interference checks with my duct and finding many conflicts. In elevations and section views I can see the beams but in plan view I am unable I have looked in the VG and everything is turned on. I have changed the view depth and cut plans but they still do not show up. Any thoughts?

1) Check your View Range in the View Properties
2) You may need to setup the view as a Coordination View or Arch View rather than a MEP view.

You should also use a custom setting for the structural file, or just the structural elements, and over-ride them so they show at medium detail level.

thanks for the input I had forgot to change my cut plan. I can see them now
