Vertical pipes not visible when passing through a floor.

Hi there

I'm having an issue with the visibility of vertical pipes - they don't show up on my drawings when the following condition is met:

-the pipe begins on a level below and ends on a level above and does not have any fittings on the floor shown.

I've temporarily got around it by inserting a connector fitting on each pipe passing through the floor, which makes the pipe visible, but I'd really like to get to the cause of the issue.  I'm running Revit 2013 and have recently installed an update as well.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I was addressing this very issue earlier today and found the riser conduit had to be drawn on a workset which can be turn on in both views. It also has to be long enough to extend into the view range of each level ie floor plan view vs ceiling plan.
