When we work in revit we link the architects model into our file, as I am sure most people do. My question is, when the architect sends us an updated model what is the best way to update the link? If I save over the current link and reload will I run into issues with my copy/monitored elements? Should I use the reload from command and point to the new model? Currently we overwrite our link with the new model and just reload it in revit but I wanted to verify that it is the correct thing to do.
We save a copy of the received file in a dated folder, then clean it up and save over the current linked file as well. We haven't run into any problems with this method so far.
