Tick marks

I was under the assumption that Revit was supposed to calculate the tick marks for you but it doesn't work correctly. For ex: 3-way switch system should have more than 3 tick marks. Any thoughts?

Revit MEP does not automatically handle switchleg tick marks at present. You have probably found you can manually override the number of ticks on the wire, however.

They should also change the options for tick marks. Add on more option would help a lot. Currently the only options are, Alway on, Always Off and Home Runs Only. Adding Instance or something like that would be helpful. An option where you can turn them on or off depending on the specific stituation.

I think that the option you want is already provided for (but could be missing something from your request). Each wire segment has a setting that will allow you to show them depending on the global setting (calulcated), show them even if the global setting is off (On), or not show them even if the global setting is on (Off).

Is there something else that you need to do?
