'Split' command on Pipe.

Can I configure the Split command to add appropriate connection fittings when splitting pipe.  Like for instance a socket welded pipe coupling in a copper hot water system?

Can this be configured to know what system is being split and add applicable fittings... like victaulic, or flanged 150 lbs fittings?

Where do you go in the software to do this?

In the Type Properties of the pipe, click on Routing Preferences. You should be able to set the Union type for each pipe type (assuming the fitting family is loaded).
