I just try to load duplex annotation file in the drawing, it shows me this message: some or all of the family files you selected cannot be loaded. You must choose family files of the category component.
At a guess - you are trying to load an electrical fixture (the receptacle) but selecting the annotation file (the symbol). As these are these are different types of family - model and annotation then they are treated differently and Revit recognises them differently.
