solidworks 2012 REVIT 2013 import

I have download it REVIT 2013 as a trial version, We are using Solidworks 2012
many clients in the states ask us to have the models in Revit
To see if we buy revit we have to transfer all of our modelization to revit and i am exporting to ACIS file .sat
I need manly to know what version of ACIS do I have to convert my files(Version 1 to 12) I have tried  some versions but it gives me an error or it sais that the import was not complete and i do not see anything on the screen
I need help,
also is there a plugin that I can use?
Thanks

Alicia

To use ACIS make sure that you use version 7.

Don't expect much from this translation and don't pretend that what you are creating is a Revit family. The files will be relatively large and often quite unuseable. A pretty dirty workflow with reasonably poor content.

The right thing to do is build the content properly in Revit so that it behaves as you want it to.

An alternative is to model in Inventor which has tools for creating Revit .rvt files. 🙂
