slow!

Any one else experiencing painfully slow regen
times during panning and zooming while in PLAN view? Regen times are not quite
as bad when in a 3D perspective, but I imagine I'll be working mostly from a
plan view...

My system is not quite up to the Autodesk
recommendations, but it's no snail either!

I was experiencing significant lag while zooming/panning in the plan views until I changed the model graphics style to shading instead of hidden lines. After the change it runs super smooth, and I only go back to hidden lines when I need to see something specific.

Good one... Changine the display mode from hidden
lines to just about any of the other options seems to smooth thing out
significantly.

Thanks.

Hidden lines needs to constantly update/calculate where/how to show hidden lines, not just of what is obscured, but also the hidden/dashed lines of where ducts/pipes cross over/under one another.

You may create a view that uses hidden lines for plotting, but use one of the of the other display modes for modeling.
