Shading of 3d Iso view has Mech Equipment Shaded solid Black

I've only just come across this problem when I've set my phase filters to Override. 

I set Overrides to get my New works lines to come out thick, but at the same time, my shaded models come out solid black.

What am I doing wrong?

I've sorted it out. 

It turns out that the default material for models in the New Phase is solid black. I've played with shadng to suit:
