Setting up correct views for plumbing

Hello, Everyone!

I have a plumbing floor plan set up into 2 views, one for area "A" and one for area "B". Areas "A" and "B" are placed on their own sheet. The Problem: When I shut off revision clouds in area "A", the clouds in area "B" also shut off in spite of revison clouds and tags set to "by sheet".

I am pretty sure this is caused by using the wrong type of view. So, what kind of view should one use to set up so they act indepently of each other on the sheets?

There could be other setting problems I haven't thought of either, so I welcome any suggestions.

Thanks

Scott F

Are your areas Dependent Views? If this is the case, then changing the V/G Overrides on any of the Views will also change it in all of the other related Views, both master and dependent. You would have to either make the view Independent or hide the Revision Clouds by Element.

Thanks.

So, should Revision Clouds and Tags only be placed/ made on the Sheet, not the view?

I think that the Revision Clouds are best placed on the Sheet View, for reasons such as avoiding having to deal with annotation cropping and a more easily controlled appearance of the Revisions Clouds. This can be a debatable issue, though.

Yes...On the sheet itself...not IN the particular view
