scheduling templates

Is there a way to create a template out of the schedules that you have created in an assembly (or otherwise) which remembers which parameters you have chosen, filters, sorting, and formatting characteristcs? Is there a workaround to this? I am using revit  2014 and I am finding it repetitive and time consuming. Thanks!

Your best bet would be to leave the original Schedule as a "Template" version, and then just Duplicate it (via right-click) and adjust it as need be. You can use "Insert from File" ▼ "Insert Views from File" to transfer that same Schedule to other Projects. It may be best to add this Schedule to your Project Template, too.
