scheduling templates

Is there a way to create a template out of the schedules that you have created in an assembly (or otherwise) which remembers which parameters you have chosen, filters, sorting, and formatting characteristcs? Is there a workaround to this? I am using revit  2014 and I am finding it repetitive and time consuming. Thanks!

Your best bet would be to leave the original Schedule as a "Template" version, and then just Duplicate it (via right-click) and adjust it as need be. You can use "Insert from File" "Insert Views from File" to transfer that same Schedule to other Projects. It may be best to add this Schedule to your Project Template, too.
