Same field different value in Revit Schedule

I am starting to recreate our cad hvac schedules into Revit. I have come across a situation where I have more than one field with the same name. (example: EAT DB. This field in cad, appears in the (3) different coils (preheat, chilled water coil, and heating coil)). Short from having to give each field a unique name ((PH EAT DB)(CHW EAT DB)(HW EAT DB)) which doesn't really folllow industry standard, not to mention aesthetically it looks horrible...is there a way to maybe assign a unique id to a field and not have it physically show in the finished schedule?

Thank you in advance for any help on this subject.

Certainly. Under Schedule Properties » Formatting tab, you can select a field from the list on the left and enter the desired value for "Heading:", and it will display that on the Schedule in lieu of the Parameter Name. You are allowed to have duplicate "Heading:" values in a given Schedule.

Your shared parameter names will need to be unique if they are in the same schedule, like an AHU schedule. You can however change the text in the column header to read the same.

You can use the same shared paramter if they are in separate schedules, such as cooling coil schedule, heating coil schedule, etc.

In the schedule view you can click on the column header and change it there as well.
