can anyone help me with setting up rvt files to open auomatically in Revit MEP 2013 viewer mode? I would like to roll it out to an entire organization, wither through GPO or login script. Any help is much appreciated.

Hello and Welcome to the Discussion!

The only way I know of having Revit open as a viewer is to not have it licensed.

If you use a trial version - after 30 days it will become a viewer.

Not sure how much help that is but it is what I currently know.
