New to Revit MEP 2012, I am trying to connect air terminal to rectangular duct with flex.
Open a new project, draw a rectangular duct and insert an air terminal, draw a flex duct; you get a tee and transition on rectangular duct (P1.jpg).
Open a new project, draw a rectangular duct and insert a air terminal, draw a round duct (P2.jpg) instead flex duct, convert round to flex duct; you get round takeoff on rectangular duct (P3.jpg).
After this point you always get round takeoffs connecting flex to rectangular ducts (without doing a conversion from round to flex). Which setting is changed by round to flex conversion? How can I get round takeoffs at the first place without doing all this to a new project?
Try selecting the duct and then clicking Type Properties. The default fittings Revit will use is specified there.
