Revit Mep 2013 Library

Hi,

I recently downloaded the student version of Revit MEP 2013. But I can't do anything with it because Revit can not find any families.

Can someone help me with that?

Regards,

Shah Rasa

Make sure when you are installing the software you tick that box talking about the design content to be installed...That's to do with your libraries

Revit has a seperate library for each region

You can modify your installation by going to control panel.

Cheers,

Mehdi

I did what you said. I can work now in revit MEP, but I have a new problem know.

I had a project on school, and I set the project in Revit Architecture 2013. But now I want to add some ductsystems and piping in revit MEP. Right now it cant find any duct fitting famillies and it won't work with auto-route of the piping. Because the project is in Revit Architecture. So how can I solve this? (Sorry for my bad English)

Shah Rasa

Open a new project using mechanical template....go to Insert> Link Revit and link your architecture model to your file...then you can start adding MEP stuff to it

Cheers,

Mehdi
