Revit MEP 2011 x64: Is there a way to suppress connections?

I am building a model with multiple models and some do not have the extra trap connection. So is there a way to turn the second one off so it doesn't show as a connection in the models with only the one trap. Still a little greenhorn with using revit.

Thanks for any help!

I do not hink it is possible what you want.

As a connector does not have a "visible" parameter you can not switch them off.

So you would have to use different families.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
