Revit File Extensions

Sorry for the dumb questions. I'm working on a program for AutoCAD drawings
and if possible would like to include functionality for Revit files.

I know the Rvt file extension is the Revit file type. Does a thumbnail of
this file type appear in Windows Explorer? Is there another Revit file typ
that appears as a thumbnail in Explorer.

If the answer to either of these questions is yes, would any of you be
interested in testing the program?

Thank you,

Patrick Hughes

The answer is Yes, when looking under windows explorer using the Thumbnails setting you can see the last view that was saved in the Revit model. Works with .RVT .RFA. RFT

Not sure exactly what the program is so I can't answer the willing to test part.

Thanks Bill,

I have a preliminary page up the has a couple of screen shots and a brief
description. The screen shots do not show Revit extensions but I've worked
it into my program.

If it looks like something you would like to try please e-mail me
