Revit displays black instead of white

I create a VG filter for displaying flex duct as white color but result displays it black. Is this an error? I'm using Revit 2013

I did the reverse - select black color to display white but when I export to CAD, flex duct keep black color. Is there anyway to display both on Revit and export to CAD white color?

I never work in black workspace in Revit. But I assume it is similar to Autocad.

In Autocad when your screen background is black, black lines would display white (printing on white paper was the reason for this).

White and black are special colors in Autocad (and Revit?) So this can make it quite confusing.

So I would advise to change the workspace background (temporarily) in both Auotcad and Revit to white and see if you get normal results.
