Rendering

My firm just up graded to Revit MEP 2009 from 2008. I am still in the discovery mode and playing with new features. I rendered a sample building I created in 2008 (and thus converted to 2009). Following the rendering and with rendering turned off, all the colors are now extremely dark across the board. How can I return to the original appearance? I've looked extensively for a setting to change, but have had no success.

Check your Sun and Shadow Settings.

That was it. Changing the settings from Date & Time to Directly was the solution. Thanx
