Pipe & Duct insulation settings for IFC export

Hello all!

We have a problem during using revit MEP 2012. When we finish work at the end of the day, we need to export our models into IFC extension for clash detection purpose.

The problem is that neither pipe insulations and nor duct insulations are appeared.

Is there any way or any ifc option in revit to make all insulations visible?

Thanks for help,

Regards,

Gyula

I had a lot of problems with the ifc exports in 2012. Insulation exports for Duct in 2013, but I haven't tried it for pipe. You have to make sure everything is on. Tekla's was working on a IFC Export Plugin you might check there site if they have finished it.

Thank you. I find these plugins on Tekla website, but we have already used them.

We tried to add some parameters at the IFC options before the export, and if we add 'IfcBuildingElementProxy' to the pipe and duct insulation row, the export works well, and all the insulation are exported.

Thanks for the help,

Regards,

Gyula
