Does the total load calculation in panel schedules automatically account for demand factors?

Of course but you should determine it for every Load Classification and define whether it will be calculated as constant value or by load or by quantity.

It does in the summary section at the bottom but not in the circuit data section in the main body off the Panel Schedule.
