I am very new to revit. Just got the program loaded and trying to import a cad file into revit.
When I select the import cad button, two boxes in the bottom right hand corner flash but not box comes up for me to select the file i'm trying to import.
this could be a 'sign' that you would be better off not importing cad files into a revit project.
i'm only half kidding here - be sure you wouldn't be better Linking the cad file so you can easly dump it later. also, consider putting linked cad files on their own workset so you can quickly manage (close) if model performance becomes a factor.
