NavisWorks Exporter

Hello, I cant seem to get the navisworks exporter to work. Everytime I try to export, it only does the wrong view. So I renamed the view it was actually exporting and now it says no geometery found. I poked around in the settings but I didnt see anything that looked like it might solve this issue. What am I missing? thanks

Thank you for your post.  In this case the issue can be linked to the detail level of the geometry attempting to be exported.  Sometimes when using the Autodesk plugin, Navisworks NWC Exporter, users get an error that says:

“No suitable geometry found. Please check what part you want to export in the ‘Navisworks settings’ menu.”

This is because the 3D view being exported has a view template applied which has the “Detail Level” field included (checked). Un-check this box and try again, it should work perfectly.

If the issue is linked to model line geometry, then the suggested workflow would be to test an export to DWF and then open this in Navisworks to view the data in question.
