Multi session open in Revit MEP

Whenever we are clicking Revit files then multiple Revit session is opening. How can we resolve it.

When you open Revit first then open the file, does it launch multiple?  Double-clicking a Revit file to open Revit is a very bad industry habit.  Get used to using Ctrl+O.
