Mistake in new model

I made the mistake of starting a new model as a template file. Is there a way to change this to a model and not a template? I tried making a new model and copying my things over but the walls, coliumns etc will not copy over.

Create a new project, select your template file as the template, and all of the elements should carry over. Using Revit MEP 2012.
