I know MEP works for smaller piping, i.e. - plumbing layouts. But I work in the water/wastewater industry. Does Revit MEP work well for large diameter piping (which includes pumps, conveyors, grinders, clarifiers, and various other pieces of equipment associated with this industry)?
Our archie dept. is finally getting up to speed with Revit and now this department is left asking the above question.
I don't see why not. We've done some fairly large diamter process piping recently and it went smoothly. You might have to create some custom families for the equipment you listed though.
its possible like mentioned you will have to create your custom pipe settings to factor in the piping you wish to create. Also look on your subscription site if you have subscription you can download the AWWA fitting families for Revit MEP.
