masked region

is there a way to associate a masked region that is in a tag with a parameter in a structural connection so when it is tagged in a project you can have different mask that will change to match the type  comment. for example say i want a circle for a plate embed, but if i use the same tag for a angle it will automatically recognize and change accordingly.

Hello, and welcome to the Discussion Groups!

That's not possible. A tag is only capable of reporting the information from the hosted element. It cannot be setup to change or otherwise alter the Tag Family based upon the information within the host element, as per your example. You will need separate Tag Families or at least separate Types; each with a dedicated Yes/No Parameter tied to the visibility of the appropriate Masking Region.
