Local File Incompatible with Central

I've been working on a project for a few weeks and I need to create a new Local file for a co-worker to take over for me.  I go through the normal work-flow of creating a new local file but when I go to synch it to the central it says that it is not compatible.  Can someone give me any suggestions as to how to fix this?

What version/release are you running? Do both versions of Revit have the same Service Packs installed (or not installed)?
