Linked Model Column Lines

I have an architectural model linked into my project.  I have copy/monitored column lines and levels at the beginning of the project.  They have since added more column lines that I cannot see in my MEP project.  I want to copy/monitor them into my project like I did with the others.  I tried all VV options..

have you update the linked architectural model ?

Yes I did. For some reason they only show up if I set vv on the linked file to by linked view
