Items missing when exporting to CAD (2012 - design suite)

HI.

We seem to have a problem when exporting our Revit sheets to AutoCAD dwg.

Our sheets have two views, a floor plan & a reflected ceiling plan. The ceiling plan consists of 600 x 600 ceiling grids, flush plaster and a concrete soffit (Basement drawings). for our smoke detection layouts we have the smoke detectors on both the 600 x 600 grid as well as on the concrete soffit.

Once we've exported to CAD, some of our smoke detectors seems to dissapear. but i've noticed it's only the ones on the 600 x 600 grid. the ones on the concrete soffit work fine. I've told Revit not to export the views as XRefs. Could this be a problem?

Has anyone had this problem before? If so, is there a way to fix it?

Thanks alot

Try exporting one of the troublesome views with different View settings, such as Wireframe, as see if that makes any difference.
