Does anyone know of a way to turn off the "behind the scenes" calculations that are going on in Revit MEP? Every time a duct is modified or added to a system, it takes a long time to generate it. Thanks.
I've been told by Autodesk that the "behind the scenes" calculation feature cannot be deactivated. It is in the very core of the Revit code. However you can get around this by not connecting ductwork and leaving a gap between duct connections. This is crude and defeats the whole purpose of a parametric BIM but it speeds things up.
