Importing 3D AutoCAD Dwg into Revit

Hi,

I have imported a 3D CAD drawing into Revit. It all displays as it should and looks good but the propblem I'm facing is that I can't cut the imported drawing with a section in Revit. Is there anything I can do in the CAD drawing to solve this?

The CAD dwg displays as an elevation all the time.

Thanks

Refer to this previous post in which this issue was addressed. I haven't had to deal with this myself...yet.

When I bring in the dwg the ductwork is not showing up. Any thoughts. Not sure if this is the problem but the autocad drawing was created from Bentley Aecosim. I can see the family of the ductwork in a 3-D view but not in plan view.
