I HAVE A DOUBT

HI

 

PLEASE SEE THE SNAPSHOT

I AM DRAWING A PIPE WITH 1:100 SLOPE

AND WHAT IS THAT HIGHLIGHTED AREA IN THE SNAPSHOT

SHOWING TWO DIFFERENT TO THE NEXT PIPE CONNECTED TO IN THE SLOPE

 

THA SLOPE MAINTAINED IS CORRET BUT I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE ' < ' AND ' > '

 

I WAS SOME TIMES CONFUSED IN A VERY BIG NETWORK TO KNOW THE SLOPE IS IN THE RIGHT WAY OR NOT

ALL THE TIME I AM DRAWING A SECTION AND CHECKING

IT IS KILLING MY TIME

PLEAASE HELP IN DRAINAGE PIPING TO WORK FAST

That is the slope symbol. The slanted line always denotes the direction of flow. The left image shows that the flow is from right to left; the right image shows the flow from top to bottom.
