I am thinking of getting a price estimate out of Revit MEP for mechanical services supply and installation works as soon as I finish the designs in Revit.
What I have done so far was adding three shared parameters to the Revit families called supply costs, commissionig costs and installation costs.
The installation cost is to take care of the mechanical installation of the unit only.
What I haven't done yet is the pricing for pipes, wires and ducts. Obviously I can have a price per meter for them but any idea how I can measure the length of for example refrigerant pipes between an evaporator and a condensor, multiply it by a unit rate and report them in a shedule?
