How to find xyz coordinate values of the pipes and other objects

Hi

I am new in Revit. I need to know the coordinate of different places in revit document. Also need to check the pipe object end points.

I get an option which shows E and N values. But how do I get coordinate like autocad.

Regards

Naym

Hi, the east is the X and the north is the Y.

The spot coordinate can also show the Z. select the tag and change the type from the selector to spot with elevation. If you don't find it, edit the type and click the checkbox for the elevation.

NOTE: You can also make revit display X in place of E and Y in place of N.

Hi,

Can you use the xyz coordinates in a calculated value? I can only find them in Revit with spot coordinate or BIMLINK,  Is there any other way?

I don't believe you can obtain the XYZ data from Revit itself though perhaps the ODBC method might work?

Here's a short video showing the pipe coordinate data via Ideate BIMLink, FYI.
