Hosted symbols overlap

What is the best way to show these 2 symbols on the plan?
Both are hosted on the wall. I want to unhost one of them (for clarity and readability) but I do not know how?
Is there a better solution?

Pls see attached png screen capture.

Your image doesnt match the thread, but i think i know what the issue is. This is a sticky one...

We have handled it in a couple of ways

1. Hide some and use annotation symbols (dont like this)
2. Create callout of area in question at a larger scale (ok)
3. Modify family to include an "offset" parameter such that the symbol can be located further out into the space (tedious, but effective)
4. Modify family to alter the size of the annotation so that they dont overlap (eh...)

none of these are perfect, but that's what i've got.

I like option number 3.

Thank you. It works. Edited by: auto99 on Aug 12, 2009 1:42 PM
