Hello, and welcome to the Discussion Groups!

Can you please elaborate and explain a little more of what gaps you are referring to? Perhaps post an image? If you are referring to the gaps generated when Wires cross over each other, that is controlled under Electrical Settings » Wiring » Gap of Wiring Crossing.

I think maybe he is referring to the situation where a recessed light fixture has geometry for its frame hidden in plan view and this affects the automatic trimming of the wire. If you want all the wires to land on the circle, you have to stretch each one, which is quite time consuming. I don't know of a fix though except to not use a fixture like the top model in this picture and use the generic cylinder which trims the wire perfectly.

I believe you are correct - that's what the OP is referring to. In that case, the only way to get the Wires to ignore the boundaries of the extraneous geometry of the fixture is to designate those extrusions/elements as not visible in the Family Editor. So, what I have actually done in the past (and with recessed cans specifically) was to edit the Family, mark the 3D geometry as invisible, load it back into the Project, create the Wiring, and undo the change in the Family and load it back in. The existing Wires do not get redefined, so they would remain "correct".

Hi

Thanks for reply. If we will do like this no use of auto circuiting. presently every body using revit and clients asking revit models only. For this circuiting each and every lighting we will do wiring it will take  too much time.Autodesk can do any solution for this.

thanks for your suggestions
