Family Types

I have created a new family that i need the text to be editable. in the revit family that i attached i am trying to be able to bring the family into the project and under the different types have it automatically say what i named the type. in this family i have a type called TxM and FB#, I am trying to make it where they show the TxM and FB# but both of the family say TxM when i place it in the model. Is there any way to have it do what i want it to do? if so where am i going wrong?

If you want to make sure that you have the right value for the right type. Then use a type parameter. In your case you have used an instance parameter. This can already be seen from the (default) after the parameter name. So change this to a type parameter.

Instance parameters can be changed for every instacne of that particular component.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
