Duct Rise / Drop Annotation Size

 

hi

 

What is the purpose of Duct Rise / Drop Annotation Size?

It is the same as with the pipe settings. It determines the size of the symbols for rising and dropping pipes (or ducts). Note that it is a project wide setting

Underneath screenshot, two projects. One with Pipe Rise/Drop Annotation Size of 3 mm. In the second project increased to 10 mm.

But my problem is on Duct


This change does not display Duct

You are correct. I assumed it was the same for pipe as duct (do not much duct myself). Apparently duct does not have single line drop/rise symbols (anymore?).

Duct will show the rise symbol based on the size of the ducting. Then it appears indeed that the "Duct Rise/Drop Annotation Size" has no function (anymore). So historical leftover?
