Duct Connectors not Inserting square to end of AHU ...why not?

Hi there,

I have a frustrating problem,  Inserting a duct connector onto the flange connector on my simple ahu model means it goes in at a random angle rather than square to the face.

- The working plane I am working with is square so its not that.

- The flange connector is a direct copy of the one on the other end adn that one works fine.

- This error happens whether I copy the original, mirror it or copy-and-paste it.

- Duct connectors attach in the right orientation on both sides of the original connector, but the wrong orientation on both sides of the copy.

I cant just rotate te connector back as there is not rotation value associated with duct connectors that I can find therefore it would only be 'by eye' which isnt good enough.  You can snap to the connectors either.

What am I doing wrong here?

I am rather a novice on Revit but I cannot find any reason for it doing this.

Got any ideas?

Hi

Check see whether the duct connector being rotated in the family.

If that's not the issue..plz upload the family here to have a quick look

Cheers,

Mehdi
