drainage systems

im new to revit MEP and im doing drainage systems right now... so can any one tel me how to draw a slope pipe and how to connect tht pies to another pipe????? its k doing with autoconnect setting?????

The way I do it and maybe others do it different.  I always draw in my main from the farthest fixture with the slope addedin.  Then any branch lines that may need to be added I go from the main with the inherit elevation checked.

You can draw your pipe then apply a slop after or you can apply the slope while drawing your pipe.

 

2014 - Go to Systems, Pipe then on the far right of the Modify | Place Pipe you will see the slope options. You can slope up/down and select the slope value from the drop down box.

 

For connecting sloped pipes sometimes its best to work in section view.
