does anyone have problems running revit on Core 2 Quad

I have seen a few people complain about speed with this program, one in
particular complained about a quad core being slow. I just purchased a quad
core machine with the Q9300 processor running WinXP 32 bit and wondered if
it will be a problem.

The best thing for performance that we have found is to go with 64bit OS

My thing with 64 bit is what runs on it?  Can
32bit applications run on it?  How to transition.

Most any X86 program will run on it. Vista "sees" if it is an X86 program and installs it in a Program Files (x86) folder. You may have some issues with drivers, but that for the most part has been taken care of as well.

I am running XP Pro 64 bit and haven't had any trouble. I would also recommend getting as much memory as you can. A lot of boards can only handle 4GB but the next system I get I am putting 16GB on it.
