We have noticed that when an object is tagged, either with a size or services height, the tag dissapears when the object is moved.
Similarly, whenour services are dimensioned to grid lines, when the architectural model is updated we loose the dimension.
Is there a way to lock the tags/dimensions to stop this happening?
If there is a fix I ould like to know as constant changes to the layouts mean we lose a lot of time and money re-documenting this information.
There is no way to prevent the tags from disappearing. It just happens randomly, sometimes it stays put, sometimes it does not. I put in a support request with autodesk regarding this issue, but they were not able to come up with a solution, other than to say they will try to get it fixed for the 2010 release.
