Different Level Selection

I am working on a 4 story building that mainly has the same thing (just a little different) on each level. When I am drawing my duct, I end up selecting something that is on the floor below, which in turn gives me an error. How do I keep this from happening? When I am drawing on the 3rd floor, I don't want to be selecting something on the 2nd floor.

A couple of things. Is your view range below the floor? Do you have a view defined in your underlay parameter?

The View Range is set to the associated level at 0. However the floor below is in the Underlay parameter. Does that need to say none or the level I am on?

<none> and your problem will go away.
