Surging ahead into Revit 2012, there is a new and exciting function to behold: the family parameter "Cut with Voids When Loaded". I understand the intended functionality and the limitations regarding the cut object's Family Category, but does this only function inside of a Revit Project? I am attempting to create modular sub-components to a family that cut into a 'blank' host object in another family (which is of the Generic Models category). Does anyone know for sure if this function does not work within family files, or is the error mine?
